As our property is currently on the market we are not updating the website. If you wish to purchase irises please use the Contact Us page or email us and we’ll do our best to help you.
Welcome to Twyford Irises where we specialise in growing mainly tall bearded irises in the beautiful and fertile Hawke’s Bay.
Irises purchased online will be sent bare-rooted via NZ Post courier from Monday to Wednesday (unless being collected from the nursery).
Our nursery also showcases the Hawke’s Bay Iris Collection, featuring bearded irises bred locally, including dwarf, median, border, intermediate and tall bearded irises. Check out the HB Collection.
It’s easy to become addicted to these fabulous easy care plants. What other plant offers so many different varieties, colours and styles and what better gift than a living plant that will reward for many years to come.
Nursery Opening Hours – Sunday, 1 November 2026 from 10am to 3pm. End of the season.
Please be aware that plants may not always flower the first season. Also, some rhizomes are smaller than others. Just like us, they come in all shapes and sizes. All are healthy and will grow and flower for you.
